Identify and analyse factors that may influence the adoption of electric vehicles. This could include variables such as:

• Government subsidies and incentives
• Charging infrastructure availability
• Price of EVs
• Consumer preferences
• Location

Challenge entries could develop predictive models to forecast future electric vehicle adoption rates. Look at how these scenarios could highlight deficiencies in infrastructure to support the adoption of EVs.

Document the data sources, methodologies and assumptions made during the analysis.

Data description

The resources available consist of historical data spanning the last 6 years, including:

• new vehicle registrations,

• vehicle transfers,

• and a snapshot of all registered vehicles in Victoria.

The data includes information such as:

• as year of manufacture,

• vehicle make and type,

• and fuel type.

• This dataset contains the count of all vehicles registered in Victoria aggregated by Vehicle Make, Postcode. Fuel Type, Vehicle Class, Year of Manufacture and colour (new release)
