Every year thousands of cars are sold in Tasmania. Buyers find it hard to track the mechanical history of the car. Furthermore buyers and sellers need a mechanic as a middle man to confirm the current mechanical status of the car. We are designing an application which would solve these issue. It will let the potential buyers inspect the car visually using augmented reality technology without visiting the seller physically. Each car would have its mechanical history and current mechanical status updated and the buyer can view it with an OTP given by a seller. This application could be used a selling and paying platform. We believe this would be a great idea in eliminating physical inspection during the post covid19 world.
The data we used in creating this project was taken from the Australian Bureau of Statistics website. We considered nation wide vehicle sale data, statewide vehicle sale data and sales data by vehicle type into consideration while creating the concept.
