Our project topic is focused towards reducing the energy consumption in City of Hobart with maintaining the safety of public without lighting the empty streets. Also,
we would like to suggest some ideas towards the reduction in the usage of lights, in order to make way for dark skies!
We aim to study the timings of parks to check the usage of lights; to understand the number of people living based on postcode; understanding the amount of energy used and renewable energy generated; understanding the Wattage of Lamps; understanding what type of lamps are used; understanding the costs of installation using all the mentioned datasets.
